A Home Where Every Cow Matters: This belief comes alive at Smile India Trust’s Shri Sidh Baba Balaknath Gaushala, where rescued cows are welcomed not as burdens but as lives worth protecting. Today, the gaushala provides a safe home to 80 rescued cows, including 60 cows that are no longer able to produce milk. Yet nothing changes in the way they are treated. Every cow receives the same affection, protection, and respect because love should never depend on usefulness.
Caring Beyond Survival: Every day, each cow receives a balanced and nutritious diet that includes mustard cake, jaggery, beed brand, green fodder, dry fodder, and chokker. Along with proper nutrition, regular veterinary check-ups and timely medical treatment ensure that every rescued animal receives the care it needs. Many cows arrived at the gaushala physically weak, undernourished, and suffering from illness or neglect. However, through consistent care, patience, and love, they slowly regain their health and begin living peacefully once again.
